Welcome to Sunnyside Village Cohousing
Sunnyside Village is an intentional community located in Marysville, just 35 miles north of Seattle. Rooted in collaboration, environmental sustainability, and healthy living, our community is designed for connection and purpose.
Situated on five acres, Sunnyside Village will feature 32 privately owned, detached cottages with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Shared amenities include a multiuse common house, a community workshop, a greenhouse, an organic garden, an orchard, walking paths, and a protected woodland area—spaces designed to foster community and support a sustainable lifestyle.
Community Comes First
We believe in the power of connection. At Sunnyside Village, we know our neighbors, support one another, and create a culture of safety and trust. We have each other’s backs—because that’s what community means.
Everyone here has a voice. We make decisions together through open discussion and shared values. By listening and collaborating, we shape the community we all want to live in.
We welcome families of all ages and promote intergenerational living as a strength. Diversity is at the heart of who we are—everyone is welcome at Sunnyside Village.

Building a Sustainable,
Intentional Community
At Sunnyside Village, we’re planning today for the community of tomorrow. Our vision is rooted in sustainability, simplicity, and thoughtful living. We live modestly and use our resources wisely, with a commitment to building a resilient and environmentally responsible future.
Our homes are designed with quality construction and long-term sustainability in mind. Each home will feature fire-resistant siding and fire-suppression sprinkler systems for added safety. Electric vehicle charging stations will be available near easily accessible parking areas, supporting our commitment to a cleaner, greener future.
Together, we are creating a community where sustainability is not just a goal—but a way of life.
Creating a Balanced Life -
Home and Work
At Sunnyside Village, we’re building a community that supports a healthy balance between work and home life. Residents will have the flexibility to work remotely from their homes, utilize shared office spaces in the common house, or commute to nearby urban centers. Whether you’re working, creating, or relaxing, the multiuse common house will serve as a hub for community life—where we can share meals, collaborate on projects, or simply connect with neighbors.
Outdoor recreation is a way of life here. Whether it’s a peaceful walk around the neighborhood or an adventurous day of hiking, camping, kayaking, skiing, fishing, kiteboarding, or snowshoeing, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the outdoors and stay active year-round.

Sunnyside Village is a Member of The Cohousing Association of the United States
The Cohousing Association of the United States is a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing cohousing and promoting a cultural shift toward a new American dream—one where every home is part of a caring, collaborative neighborhood that values community, sustainability, and a richly connected life.
