Sunnyside Village Cohousing has been a long time in the making and now, with construction just a few months away and the hardest work behind us, we’re seeing the fruits of our labors coming to life!
Forming a cohousing community of brand new homes from the ground up is no small feat.
We continue to be inspired by the vision, dedication, and teamwork that our Sunnyside founding members bring to the process. Many people don’t realize just how many hands and hearts go into making it happen, from our amazing members to our investors, building developers and consulting professionals.
The dream of our future home drives our foundational members through all the grit and hard work it takes to build a cohousing community from scratch. We're creating a close-knit neighborhood where everyone can count on their neighbors for a friendly face, a helping hand, and companionship to share life's richness. Imagine impromptu game nights or nature walks, where help is just next door and social connections happen organically in everyday life.
Our dream is coming to fruition as we plan to break ground this summer with a projected move in 2027! This is a perfect time to meet our members, the people who are trailblazing this warm and supportive community.
