Linda Haas enjoyed a distinguished 35-year career as the Endocrinology Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Seattle VA Medical Center after earning graduate degrees in Epidemiology from the University of Washington. A Registered Nurse by training, she also raised three children and served in national leadership roles while helping shape VA policy on metabolic diseases.

Now retired in Burien, Linda enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, Tai Chi, reading, cooking, and participating in several book clubs. Sunnyside members know her for the beautiful, garden-fresh salads she brings to community potlucks.

After her daughter-in-law heard about Sunnyside Village on NPR and said, "I think this is for you," Linda began exploring—and quickly agreed. She looks forward to having her own cottage, pets, and garden while enjoying the friendships, shared meals, and sense of community that make Sunnyside special.
